Hunidity Across Latidues

Graph humidity vs latitude

Humidity has a somewhat symmetric distribution around 10°N; It appears randomly distributed for latitudes in the southern hemisphere and for latitudes greater than around 15°N. However for latitudes between 0°N and 15°N there is a clear lack of low humidity. One way to interpret this is that for latitudes away from the equator, humidity changes based on time of day and other factors but near the equator humidity is necessarily high at all times due to the climate. The fact that the distribution is centered around 10°N instead of 0°N (the equator) is most likely because the data was collected during the summer.
